Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS® strives to provide you the skills and training to expand the knowledge needed to do your job professionally and be successful. This knowledge takes many forms, from formal classes to casual networking. We hope you will take advantage of the many offered benefits.
In-House Continuing Education:
Take the required 15 Maryland Credit Hours or more in a comfortable setting, with fellow members, and highly trained instructors all at no additional cost to you. The elective classes are taught by Affiliate Members who are in the field doing what they teach.
On-Line Continuing Education:
As a Mid-Shore Board Realtor®, you receive a discounted price through The CE Shop, for those who enjoy taking CE classes on-line and on your own time.
Lunch & Learns:
Offered at no cost to the member. These informal presentations provide in-depth knowledge about trending real estate topics, lunch usually provided at no additional cost. Open to both REALTOR® and Affiliate Members.
Online writable forms at no charge to the members. All Maryland, Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester forms at one location. Includes document storage for 5-years as required by the Maryland Real Estate Commission and a Transaction Management System to track the steps to settlement.
Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS® is the point of contact to obtain your SentriLock card and lockboxes. Low annual fees make this lockbox affordable and provides your client with the security of knowing who has been in their home.
Maintaining relationships with local, state and national government representatives keep the interests of the members and property owners supported and protected. An active Government Affairs Committee, REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), keeps the board and members informed on local events affecting real estate in our area. Mediation is offered at no charge to members as a first step to resolve conflicts before going to arbitration. For issues that cannot be resolved through mediation, the board follows the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.
There is nothing REALTORS® need more than good relationships with others, the Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS® provides this opportunity for our members through our many events and celebrations throughout the year.

Installation of Officers – each Oct is the celebration of the achievements of the Board; providing members the opportunity to network with the new Board of Directors.
Annual Holiday Party – This held each year on the first Thursday in December. A fun, festive event with food and refreshments. The cost to enter is a donation to a local charity.
Crab Feast & Legislative Update – in August the members enjoy steamed crabs and fried chicken and hear from their State Senators, Delegates, and local elected officials.
